As professor of church history for nearly twenty years at Union Theological Seminary in Virginia, Rev. Dr. Ross Mackenzie translated or wrote over twenty theological books and lectured internationally. Mackenzie also founded the American chapter of the Ecumenical Society of the Blessed Virgin Mary. In 1989 Rev. Dr. Ross Mackenzie was asked to serve as the first full-time director of the Department of Religion of the Chautauqua Institution.
