Professor and chair of the Department of Psychology at Virginia Commonwealth University, Dr. Worthington is also a licensed clinical psychologist. He has published 20 books and almost 200 articles and scholarly chapters, mostly on forgiveness, and marriage and family topics. He directs A Campaign for Forgiveness Research, a non-profit organization that supports research into forgiving, and works to build a field for studying forgiveness scientifically.
