Lauren Belfer received her MFA in Creative Writing from Columbia University. She has previously published short fiction and contributes frequent reviews to The New York Times Book Review. She is the author of City Of Light which was a Main Selection of the Book-of-the-Month Club, a finalist for the Barnes and Noble Discover Award, a Library Journal Book of the Year, and a New York Times Notable Book. A former producer for CBS Documentaries, she lives in New York with her husband and son.
